Spiderman 4 Stan Lee Wants The Lizard
The villain in Spiderman 4 has not been announced yet. But we are all trying to guess who it will be. I have been betting on the Lizard as being the most probable villain in the next Spiderman movie.
Some days ago I while searching for Spiderman 4 on the web I just found a video interview of Stan Lee, the creator of Spider-Man.
The interview dates back to one year ago. But I think it still sounds right and it would confirm the Lizard hypothesis:

So Stan Lee asserted that:
I think unlikely that any producer or scriptwriter would counter Stan Lee's viewpoint.
So it's almost a given that the Lizard will be in Spiderman 4. Maybe the Lizard will join forces with some other villains to fight against the superhero Spiderman though.
Update as of 2009/03/16:
"We’re definitely talking about working from all the material in the comic books and nothing [invented] outside of that, 'Raimi continued. 'All the characters or villain or villains, whatever we decide to do will be from Stan Lee’s creations or those that came after him."

So Sam Raimi will stay faithful to the original source material. And I bet he will listen to Stan Lee: the old man is still the old man in the house! Quite sure we will have the Lizard by now!

Kraven the Hunter would be a good double villian combo with the Lizard.
Lizard w/morbius or Kingpin (and a cameo by Human Torch) is my guess.
lizard would be a good villian for the next spider man movie.
Ironman got it almost right. Comic villains are not threatening. They do not die! So, who really cares about the villains. I loved comics when other heroes appeared. Not like the poorly fleshed out X-Men. I would like to get a a few lines of dialogue from Captain American or Black Panther. Not something tagged to the end like Ironman, but integrated into the story!
you need to look harder and pay attention. If you have been a spider-man comic fan, you would have hated spider-man-3. the alien symbolite does not 'just' appear. You need to find (if possible)marvel comics 'secret wars #8' to find out how spiderman gets the black suit.Now as far as the new villain, Venom or Eddie Brock goes to prison, as he is escaping his cell mate is leaving with him. Part of the symbolite gets hung and attaching to him. Being a serial killer, the symbolite transform him into Carnage. Like you see in the spider-man 4 trailer. If you would look harder on other links, Jim Carrey is reported to have been offered the job.
Everyone they just announced it the villians for spidey 4 are going to be lizard and carnage and blackcats going to be in it

i think they should have lizard as the main character, and carnage as a side character.
They should also put Carnage. Connors still has that symbiote sample in his lab. You never know if a mad man can run into his lab and crash into the desk spilling the symbiote on himself and.....
If they have Carnage and Lizard, Spider-Man should have an allie like.....SANDMAN! He didn't die so he could help Spidey. Or Lizard might realize that Spider-Man is Peter and control himself and they could defeat Carnage.
The best comic was putting a 6 armed Spiderman against Michael Morbius while trying to handle the Lizard. Try following that scenario!
It's got to be the Lizard, but he a bit mindless and I don't see how he could partner with anybody.
Also, the warewolf, J.J.'s son has been established in the film series. In the comic he gets a moon rock which he wears as a necklace and becomes the wolf in moon light. A bit corny, but the possibility of the caricature has been introduced.
Hey Stan! My name is Lindsay Vanden Plas and here's my idea for Spider-Man 4. Peter and Mary Jane have mended their relationship and Peter finally proposes to her, showing her his aunt's engagement ring. Mary Jane happily accepts and they begin wedding preparations. But Mary Jane's former boyfriend, Flash Thompson, is now hanging around and is jealous of Peter. After he falls into water containing mutant chemicals, he turns into water and attempts to take Mary Jane back before she marries Peter (He could be Hydro-Man in this movie instead of Morrie Bench). During the first half of the film, Peter and Mary Jane would continually encounter him and manage to fight him off. At some point in this part of the movie, he would even kidnap Mary Jane, but Peter would save her. At the beginning of the second half of the film during an encounter with Flash, he threatens to flood the whole city if Mary Jane refuses to be with him and gives her two weeks to decide. During all this, Peter and Mary Jane also struggle with making preparations for their wedding.
The lizard can also be used in here somewhere too. See ya!
Kraven the Hunter, Morbuis, and Lizard will be good for Spiderman 4.
Why? Dr. Morbius work with Dr. Connor to find cure for his arm to grow back, but things goes wrong that Morbius become vampire and Connor become lizard and so Kraven have hunt Lizard so Spiderman have to stop him.
I thought it will perfect for Spidey 4
I think the Lizard and Carnage are basicly NEEDED. And yeah, Connors still has that sample. Jim Carrey would probably make the perfect Carnage. Who else could do an insane super-villain? [ just look at his job as the Riddler.] But then again, thats my opinion. At the above comment, I don't like the idea of Hydro-man. I always thought it was a bad way of pushing the sSidy-MJ romance. Your idea is great, but I don't think I would put it in a blockbuster film. It would make it turn from Spider-man 4to "The Untold Love Stories of MJ and Peter Parker." No offence to you.
it has to be the lizard and kravan the hunter and somehow bring back venom for like 1 battle and get him thrown in jail so then in spiderman 5 they can have carnage and venom and have venom team up with spiderman to kill carnage
